RESOLUTION NO. 186-85
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION OF CONSTRUCTION
AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS ACROSS THE WICHITA FALLS
COUNTRY CLUB.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to construct the
Holliday Creek Channel Improvement Project; and,
WHEREAS, this project requires a construction and drainage
easement across the Wichita Falls Country Club property; and,
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Country Club has indicated that
they wish to enter into a friendly condemnation proceeding to
establish the costs; and,
WHEREAS, both the City of Wichita Falls and the Wichita Falls
Country Club are desirous of accomplishing this construction in
an expeditious manner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS, THAT:
The acquisition by the City of the construction and drainage
easements shown on the attached plat is necessary.
The City Manager and City Attorney are hereby authorized to
file a condemnation action against the Wichita Falls Country
Club to obtain the necessary construction and drainage easements
across the Wichita Falls Country Club property .
