RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 TO
CONTRACT A, CYPRESS STREET WATER TREATMENT
PLANT EXPANSION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Preload
Technology, Inc. , for the construction of a 5 MG concrete storage tank and
two underground clarifiers with ancillary piping, fittings, and facilities;
WHEREAS, one element of work in the contract is the backfilling
and final grading around the three concrete structures;
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, on recommendation of the
design engineer, desires to eliminate the backfilling and final grading
around the three concrete structures;
WHEREAS, Preload Technology is agreeable to that change; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined Change Order No. 1 to effect this
change.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 1 for Contract A, Cypress Street Water Treatment
Expansion Project, is approved to reduce the total contract price by $20,000.00
to a new contract total of $1 ,365,026.00. The City Manager is authorized to
execute Change Order No. 1 .
