RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR 1985 CDBG
WATER LINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls proposes to accomplish certain
utility improvements using 1985 Community Development Block Grant funds;
WHEREAS, the work to be accomplished has been engineered and
advertised for bid;
WHEREAS, the City has received four bids for the proposed work; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has determined the lowest responsible bidder to
be Opex, Inc. , of Olney, Texas, in the amount of $138,839.60.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1985 CDBG Water Line Replacement Project is awarded to Opex, Inc. ,
for the base bid only in the amount of $138,839.60, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute an appropriate contract.
