RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR
THE 1985 BUDGET UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Opex, Inc. ,
of Olney, Texas, for the accomplishment of certain utility improvements under
a project known as the 1985 Budget Utility Improvements Project;
WHEREAS, one part of that project is to install an 8" water line
in the vicinity of Spur 325 and Airport Drive;
WHEREAS, the City now desires to upsize the 8" line to a 12" line
to facilitate future operations; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a proposed Change Order No. 1 for
the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 1 for the 1985 Budget Utility Improvements Project
is approved in the amount of $19,513.20, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute said change order.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 5TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1985.
