RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR CONVERSION
OF LOW RATE TRICKLING FILTER TO SLUDGE BEDS
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to convert a low rate
trickling filter on the 1925 Imhoff Tank at the River Road Wastewater Treatment
Plant to additional sludge drying beds;
WHEREAS, the project has been engineered and advertised for bidding;
and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined all bids received, and has determined
the lowest responsible bidder to be the Onyx Construction Company, Fort Worth, Texas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Onyx Construction Company, Fort Worth, Texas, is hereby awarded the bid
for the low rate trickling filter conversion project in the amount of $232,605.00
for the base bid, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 5TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1985.
