RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH THE FIRM OF
CORLETT, PROBST & BOYD, INC. , CONSULTING ENGINEERS
FOR THE INSPECTION OF SELECTED BRIDGES SPANNING
HOLLIDAY CREEK WITHIN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is widening and re-aligning
the existing Holliday Creek channel ;
WHEREAS, several bridges may require structural modification for
replacement in order to accommodate this Public Works Project;
WHEREAS, the City Council has examined a proposed contract with
the firm of Corlett, Probst and Boyd, Inc. , to conduct inspections of these
bridges and recommend alternative courses of action so that the construction
project can proceed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract with the firm Corlett, Probst & Boyd, Inc.
for inspecting selected bridges within the City of Wichita Falls is hereby
approved in the amount not to exceed $18,000.00, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute the said contract.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 5TH OF NOVEMBER, 1985.
