RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE 1983-84 CDBG
UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AND TO
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Opex, Inc. ,
of Olney, Texas, for a project known as the 1983-84 CDBG Utility Improvements
Project;
WHEREAS, the project has been completed and the work has been inspected
by members of the City staff, and has been found to be acceptable; and,
WHEREAS, the contractor has submitted a final pay estimate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Council of the City of Wichita Falls hereby accepts the 1983-84
CDBG Utility Improvements Project, and the City Manager is authorized to make a
final payment to the contractor in the amount of $44,696.80.
