RESOLUTION TO APPROVE JOINT-FUNDING OF
WATER MONITORING PROGRAM WITH U.S. GEOLOGICAL
SURVEY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is required by its permit for
Lakes Kickapoo and Arrowhead to maintain and operate three gauging stations;
and,
WHEREAS, these stations are operated and maintained by the U.S.
Geological Survey, Department of Interior, on a joint funded bais.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to sign a joint-funding agreement
with the U.S. Geological Survey for the period of October 1 , 1985, to September
30, 1986, at a total cost to the City of $7,050.00.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 5TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1985.
