RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 TO
CONTRACT B FOR THE CYPRESS STREET WATER PLANT
EXPANSION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Bowles
Construction Company for certain improvements in the Cypress Street Water
Treatment Plant expansion project, and the contract was originally awarded
in the amount of $483,960.82;
WHEREAS, certain modifications have been necessary as the work has
progressed; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined the work included in change order
No. 1 dated October 4, 1985.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change order No. 1 to Contract B of the Cypress Street Water Treatment
Plant expansion project is approved in the amount of $2,955.00, thereby increas-
ing the contract to a total of $486,915.82. The City Manager is authorized to
execute the change order.
