RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO A CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE
AGREEMENT FOR BRIDGE REPLACEMENT FOR THE
HOLLIDAY STREET BRIDGE
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to remove and replace
the Holliday Street Bridge (Structure Identification No. B01955004) ; and,
WHEREAS, the Texas State Department of Highways and Public Transportation
has placed this strucuture on a Federal Program entitled "1985-86 Off-State System
Federal-Aid Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Program"; and,
WHEREAS, the Texas State Department of Highways and Public Transpor-
tation agrees to construct this bridge in general accordance with the U.S. Army
Corps of Engineers Design Memorandum No. 1 for Lake Wichita, Holliday Creek, Texas,;
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls agrees to pay 20% of the construction
cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign a construction and
maintenance agreement for bridge replacement for the Holliday Street Bridge over
the Holliday Creek waterway.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 15TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1985.
