RESOLUTION NO . /`/1--15
RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC
CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY HERETOFORE ISSUED TO
CLAUDIO RAMIREZ , SR. , FOR THE OPERATION OF A
SECOND TAXICAB IN WICHITA FALLS .
WHEREAS , by Resolution No . 74-85 , adopted June 18 , 1985 ,
the City Council granted and issued to Claudio Ramirez , Sr . ,
a certificate of public convenience and necessity for the operation
of one taxicab ; and ,
WHEREAS , Mr . Ramirez has requested authority to operate
a second taxicab in the City of Wichita Falls ; and ,
WHEREAS , the City Council conducted a public hearing on
this application ; and ,
WHEREAS , the City Council finds that the public convenience
requires the operation of a second taxicab , that the applicant
is fit to conduct this business , and that the second automobile
is fit and safe for the transportation of passengers .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT :
The certificate of public convenience and necessity issued
and granted to Claudio Ramirez , Sr . , by Resolution No . 74-85
on June 18 , 1985 , is hereby amended to authorize Claudio Ramirez ,
Sr . , to operate a total of two taxicabs , subject to the ordinances
of the City .
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1st day of October , 1985 .
