RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR 1985 BUDGET
UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City annually makes certain improvements to the
utility system;
WHEREAS, the 1985 Budget Utility Improvement Project has been
submitted for bids;
WHEREAS, only one bid was received for this project; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the reasons for the single bid
and the possibility of re-bidding the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of Opex, Inc. , Olney, Texas, for the 1985 Budget Utility
Improvement Project is accepted in the amount of $412,116.40, and the City
Manager is authorized to execute an appropriate contract for this purpose.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 24TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 198 .
