RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR RECONSTRUCTION
OF THE SCOTTSDALE DRAINAGE CHANNEL
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Ralph Garza Construction
Company, entered into a contract dated May 21, 1985, for the Reconstruction
of the Scottsdale Drainage Channel; and,
WHEREAS, such project has been completed in accordance with the
plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, such contract was a unit price contract and the estimated
cost based on estimated quantities was $73,510.42; however, on the basis of
the actual quantities used in the construction, the total contract price is
71,360.84, of which $47,693.77 has been paid to its contractor, leaving
a balance due of $23,667.07. This project was completed September 11, 1985.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of such project is accepted by the City of Wichita
Falls, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to pay to the contractor
the amount due as set out above.
