A RESOLUTION FOR THE AWARD OF BIDS THROUGH THE STATE OF TEXAS
CONTRACT NUMBER 1646 TO THE IBM CORPORATION FOR THE PURCHASE
OF AN IBM PC BASED COMPUTER SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the State of Texas has, in an open and formal bid, accepted
bids from responsible contractors for the supply of general purpose personal
computers; and,
WHEREAS, under volume purchase agreement, contract number 1646 said
bid was awarded to the IBM Corporation; and,
WHEREAS, the IBM Corporation has extended to the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas the prices agreed to under said contract; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to purchase an IBM PC
based computer system, which system, with required enhancements, falls under
this contract agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Pursuant to the terms of the State Contract Number 1646, the IBM
Corporation is awarded the contract with the City of Wichita Falls, Texas to
purchase one IBM PC-AT and two IBM PC-XT computers with enhancements at the
prices agreed to in that contract.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 24th day of September, 1985.
