RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF THE JALONICK PARK SOFTBALL FIELD LIGHTING SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Willen Electric Company
entered into a contract dated May 7, 1985, for the construction of the
Jalonick Park Softball Field Lighting System.
WHEREAS, such project has been completed in accordance with the
plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, such contract was a unit price contract and the estimated
cost based on estimated quantities was $33,777.00; however, $20,430.00 has
been paid to its contractor, leaving a balance due of $13,347.00. This
project was accepted September 16, 1985.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of such project is accepted by the City of Wichita
Falls, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to pay to the contractor
the amount due as set out above.
