RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT WITH GROVES AND ASSOCIATES, Inc. ,
CONSULTING ENGINEERS, FOR THE DESIGN OF THE WATERFALL
OFF OF THE CENTRAL FREEWAY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls wishes to proceed with the
design of a waterfall as part of the Riverwalk Project in the City of
Wichita Falls;
WHEREAS, the City wishes to proceed expeditiously with the preliminary
phase of this contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to negotiate and sign a contract for
design services for the waterfall as part of the Riverwalk with the preliminary
phase of the contract not to exceed $7,000.00.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 3RD DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1985.
