RESOLUTION APPROVING SALE OF A REMAINDER OF LOT 9,
BLOCK 9, BARWISE AND JALONICK ADDITION, TO A. D.
HANNA.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls owns a tract of land containing 812
square feet remaining out of the southeast corner of Lot 9, Block 9, Barwise
and Jalonick Addition, and the City no longer has use for such tract; and,
WHEREAS, this tract abuts property owned by A. D. Hanna, and the City's
land is incapable of being used independently due to its small size and irregular
shape; and,
WHEREAS, the fair market value of the above described tract is $305.00,
as determined by an appraisal obtained by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The sale of a remainder out of the southeast corner of Lot 9, Block 9,
Barwise and Jalonick Addition, Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, to
A. D. Hanna for $305. 00, is authorized by Article 5421c-12 of the Revised Civil
Statutes of Texas, and is hereby approved, and James Berzina, City Manager
of the City of Wichita Falls, is authorized to execute the deed on behalf of
the City of Wichita Falls for the conveyance.
