RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AN ADMINISTRATIVE
HANDLING FEE FOR TESTS PERFORMED ON WATER
SAMPLES SUBMITTED TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT
LABORATORY.
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Health Department
Laboratory is an approved regional laboratory that is mandated to
perform laboratory tests on water samples submitted by governmental or
private agencies from 18 Counties in the region; and
WHEREAS, the administrative services related to these tests
not borne by the Texas Department of Health should be paid by the
agency, individual or group requesting the tests.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
An administrative handling fee of five dollars ($5.00) shall
be charged for each total coliform, fecal coliform or fecal strep
test performed at the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Health Department.
This resolution shall become effective October 1, 1985.
