RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR THE 1984 DEPART-
MENT OF PARKS & RECREATION WEEKS AND HAMILTON TENNIS
CENTERS TENNIS COURTS RESURFACING PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Timmins Anderson
Corporation entered into a contract dated October 2, 1984, for the Weeks
and Hamilton Tennis Courts Resurfacing Project; and,
WHEREAS, such project has been completed in accordance with the
plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, such contract was a unit price contract and the estimated
cost based on estimated quantities was $67,541.00; however, due to asmall over
run in quanities the final estimate is $69,764.60 which $64,671.82 has been
paid to its contractor, leaving a balance due of $5,092.78. This has been
completed as of July 15, 1985.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of such project is accepted by the City of
Wichita Falls, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to pay to the
contractor the amount due as set out above.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 6TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1985.
