RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR REPAIRS AND ADDITIONS
TO LAKE ARROWHEAD EMBANKMENT ROCK SLOPE PROTECTION
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls intends to restore the stone
rip-rap on the embankment of Lake Arrowhead;
WHEREAS, the proposed work is divided into two segments, known
as Contract A and Contract B;
WHEREAS, funds are currently available for Contract A; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined bids for Contract A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for Contract A for the Lake Arrowhead embankment rock slope
protection project is hereby awarded to the Zack Burkett Company of Graham, Texas,
in the amount of $351 ,030.00, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract for this purpose.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 16TH DAY OF JULY, 1985.
