RESOLUTION APPROVING SALE OF REMAINDER OF LOTS
3-6 , BLOCK 27 , J. A. KEMP ADDITION, TO ARTURO
ZUNIGA.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls owns a tract of land
containing . 1469 acres remaining out of Lots 3 , 4 , 5, and 6 ,
Block 27 , J. A. Kemp Addition, also known as 107 Galveston Street,
and the City no longer has use for such tract; and,
WHEREAS, this tract abuts property owned by Arturo Zuniga,
and the City' s land is incapable of being used independently
due to its small size and irregular shape; and,
WHEREAS, the fair market value of the above described tract
is $1,920 . 00 , as determined by an appraisal obtained by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The sale of the remainder of Lots 3-6 , Block 27 , Kemp Addition,
to Arturo Zuniga for $1, 920 . 00 , is authorized by Article 5421c-12
of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, and is hereby approved,
and James Berzina, City Manager of the City of Wichita Falls, is
authorized to execute the deed on behalf of the City for the
conveyance.
