RESOLUTION WAIVING GOLF TOURNAMENT FEES FOR THE
ANNUAL MEN'S TEXAS OKLAHOMA PARTNERSHIP TOURNA-
MENT AND THE ANNUAL MEN'S TEXAS OKLAHOMA THREE
MAN SCRAMBLE TOURNAMENT.
WHEREAS, the Weeks Parks Men ' s Golf Association, which has
financially supported many improvements for the golf course over
the past years, has requested that the golf tournament fee of
3 . 50 per person per day be waived for the annual Men' s Texas
Oklahoma Partnership Tournament, which will be held on May 25
and 26 , 1985 , and for the annual Men 's Texas Oklahoma Three Man
Scramble Tournament, which will be held on July 27 and 28 , 1985;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the circumstances
involved in this matter are exceptional, and that such waiver .
should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The provision of Resolution No. 174-84 which sets a tournament
fee of $3 .50 per day for each participant in the annual Men 's
Texas Oklahoma Partnership Tournament and the annual Men ' s Texas
Oklahoma Three Man Scramble Tournament is hereby waived.
