A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF SCOTLAND TO PERMIT A
WATER METER FOR A PROPOSED LIVESTOCK AUCTION FACILITY ALONG
U.S. HIGHWAY 281
WHEREAS, the McGregor Ranch has requested a water meter for a proposed
livestock auction facility to be located along U.S. Highway 281; and,
WHEREAS, the water meter would be on the transmission line between the
City of Wichita Falls and Scotland; and,
WHEREAS, water meters along the transmission line must be approved by
the City of Scotland and the City of Wichita Falls; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed livestock auction facility is not an urban devel-
opment and is in accordance with the City of Wichita Falls' growth management
policies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City of Scotland is hereby authorized to allow a water meter for a
proposed livestock auction facility along U.S. Highway 281.
