RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO
SEWAGE LIFT STATION AND FORCE MAIN
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls proposes to continue certain
improvements to the sewer system serving the Sunset Terrace area of the City;
WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids for improvement to the sewer
lift station serving the area and to a force main for the sewer lift station;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has examined the bids received.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of $51 ,612.00 by Costello Construction Company of Wichita
Falls for improvements to the sewer lift station and the installation of a
new force main is considered the lowest, responsible bid, and is hereby accepted
by the City Council . The City Manager is authorized to execute a contract with
Costello Construction Company to accomplish the specified work.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 23RD DAY OF APRIL, 1985.
