RESOLUTION TO APPROVE ENGINEERING CONTRACT FOR
CONVERSION OF 1925 TRICKLING FILTER TO SLUDGE
BEDS
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to add additional
sludge drying space to the River Road Waste Water Treatment Facility;
WHEREAS, it has been determined in a preliminary engineering
analysis that the Fixed Nozzle Trickling Filter System for the 1925
Imhoff Tank can be converted to sludge drying beds;
WHEREAS, the Consulting Engineering Firm of Corlett, Probst,
and Boyd, has submitted a proposal for the engineering design for the
conversion; and
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed the said proposal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed agreement for engineering services with the
firm of Corlett, Probst, and Boyd is accepted in an amount not to exceed
19,250.00 and the City Manager is authorized to execute said agreement
for the City of Wichita Falls.
