RESOLUTION TO APPROVE SECOND CONTRACT
FOR CYPRESS STREET WATER TREATMENT
EXPANSION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is expanding the Cypress
Street Water Treatment Plant and has issued the necessary municipal
bonds for this purpose;
WHEREAS, the work is being accomplished in a series of construction
contracts;
WHEREAS, the City has advertised for bids for the second in the series
of contracts to be let; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined the bid proposals received for
the second contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid proposal of Boyles Construction Company of Wichita Falls,
Texas, for the second contract for Cypress Street Water Treatment Plant Expansion
in the amount of $483,960.82 is accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute the contract for the City.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 2ND DAY OF APRIL, 1985.
