RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT TO PERFORM UTILITY
RATE STUDY OF THE WATER AND SEWER UTILITIES OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to conduct a Rate
Study for water and sewer customers in the wholesale and retail categories;
WHEREAS, the staff has evaluated several prospective consulting
firms to conduct this rate study;
WHEREAS, the staff has recommended the firm of Willis, Graves,
and Morgan, Inc. of Austin, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed a proposed contract with said
firm for the Utility Rate Study.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract with the consulting firm of Willis, Graves,
and Morgan, Inc. is hereby accepted by the City of Wichita Falls, and the
City Manager is authorized to execute the contract for a maximum amount of
19,040.00.
