RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION OF LUCY PARK
PLAY AREA BY LLOYD J. TAYLOR, III, d/b/a TAYLOR
AND COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract dated November 7,
1984 with Lloyd J. Taylor, III, d/b/a Taylor and Company, for the construction
of Lucy Park Play Area; and
WHEREAS, the contract price for such construction was $37,233.00, and
Change Order No. 1 provides for an additional $40.00 for sawing out and removing
four one-half foot pieces of concrete sidewalk; and
WHEREAS, said construction has been completed in accordance with the plans
and specifications; and
WHEREAS, $32,541 .65 has been paid to the contractor, leaving a balance due
of $4,731 .35.
NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of such Lucy Park Play Area is hereby accepted, Change
Order No. 1 is approved, and the City Manager is authorized to pay to the contractor
the final payment of $4,731 .35.
