RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR CONCESSION OPERATIONS
IN WILLIAMS PARK AND BRIDWELL PARK.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised for bids for
the operation of concession buildings in various City parks;
and,
WHEREAS, two bids were received on Williams Park, and the
bid of Larry Carl Adams, which provided that 36% of gross sales
for food and beverages would be paid to the City, was the best
bid; and,
WHEREAS, one bid was received on Bridwell Park, that being
the bid of Doug Mathis, which provided that 25% of gross sales
for food and beverages would be paid to the City, and it is found
that this is a fair and reasonable bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS, THAT:
Such bids of Larry Carl Adams and Doug Mathis are hereby
accepted; the City Manager is authorized to execute a standard
contract with Larry Carl Adams for the concession operation at
Williams Park for one year ending February 1, 1986 , and the City
Manager is authorized to execute a standard contract with Doug
Mathis for the concession opreration in Bridwell Park for a two-
year period ending February 1, 1987 .
