A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE
ZONING ORDINANCE AND SCHEDULING PUBLIC HEARINGS
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the Land Use Plan in November, 1984,
which set the goals and objectives relating to land use policies: and,
WHEREAS, the City Council appointed the Planning Board as the Zoning
Commission and directed that a Zoning Ordinance be developed; and,
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission prepared a Preliminary Report and held
three (3) public hearings; and,
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission prepared a Final Report in the form of
a proposed Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map which have been presented to the City
Council for adoption.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Final Report of the Zoning Ordinance is hereby received from the
Zoning Commission and the following public hearings are scheduled:

Tuesday April 2, 1985 8:30 a.m. Council Chambers, Memorial Auditorium
