A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE APPLICATION OF MIDTOWN
NOW FOR THE MAIN STREET URBAN DEMONSTRATION PROJECT
AND INDICATING THE CITY'S WILLINGNESS TO FUND $50,000
PER YEAR FOR THREE YEARS TO PARTIALLY FUND THE LOCAL
COST
WHEREAS, Midtown Now is submitting an application under the
Main Street Urban Demonstration Project; and,
WHEREAS, Midtown Now has requested the City's endorsement and
financial participation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City of Wichita Falls endorses the application of Midtown Now
for participation in the Main Street Urban Demonstration Project and is
willing to fund $50,000 per year for three years to partially fund the local
cost.
