RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NUMBER ONE AND
ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION OF MAPLEWOOD BOULEVARD/
MIDWESTERN PARKWAY MEDIAN IRRIGATION SYSTEM BY
LLOYD J. TAYLOR, III, d /b /a TAYLOR AND COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Lloyd J. Taylor, III,
d /b /a Taylor and Company, entered into a contract dated November
16, 1984, for the construction of Maplewood Boulevard /Midwestern
Parkway median irrigation system; and,
WHEREAS, during the course of such work, it was advisable to
make certain changes in the work as set out in Change Order No. 1,
a copy of which is attached hereto, which increases the contract
price by $1,285.28; and,
WHEREAS, the construction of such project has been completed
in accordance with the plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, the total contract price, including the change order,
is $50,885.28, of which $47,120.00 has been paid, leaving a balance
due of $3,765.28.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of the Maplewood Boulevard /Midwestern Parkway
median irrigation system is hereby accepted, and the City Manager
is authorized to pay to the contractor the balance due as set out
above.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 5th day of February, 1985.
