AGREEMENT APPORTIONING EXTRATERRITORIAL JURIS-
DICTION BETWEEN WICHITA FALLS AND PLEASANT VALLEY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT :
That certain agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto,
between the City Valley, apportioningWichitaFallsandPleasantValle , ap ortioning
their extraterritorial jurisdiction, is hereby approved, and the
City Manager is authorzied to execute the same for the City of
Wichita Falls.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 5th day of February, 1985 .

AGREEMENT APPORTIONING EXTRATERRITORIAL
JURISDICTION BETWEEN WICHITA FALLS AND PLEASANT VALLEY
This agreement made and entered into this the day of
1985, by and between the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, hereinafter called "Wichita Falls" , and
the town of Pleasant Valley, Texas , hereinafter called "Pleasant
Valley" ,
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the extraterritorial jurisdiction of Wichita Falls
completely overlaps the extraterritorial jurisdiction of Pleasant
Valley, and the two desire to apportion such overlapped area by
mutual agreement of the governing bodies, in accordance with
Section 3-B of Article 970a, Revised Civil Statutes of Texas .
NOW, THEREFORE , for and in consideration of the mutual cove-
nants herein contained, Wichita Falls and Pleasant Valley, acting
by and through the undersigned officers, duly authorized by
resolutions of their governing bodies , do hereby agree as follows:
All of the following described property shall constitute
the extraterritorial jurisdiction of Pleasant Valley, to-wit:
A legal description of the area shown on Attachment
1 and Option 2 shall be included here prior to
execution of the contract. )
All of the balance of the overlapped extraterritorial
jurisdiction of Pleasant Valley shall be within the extraterri-
torial jurisdiction of Wichita Falls .
A plat showing the apportionment of the overlapped extra-
territorial jurisdiction is attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A" .
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this
agreement to be executed as of the day and year first set out
above.
