RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPRAISALS OF
PROPERTIES FOR EASEMENTS TO ACCOMODATE
A SEWER FORCE MAIN AND AUTHORIZING
THE PURCHASE OR CONDEMNATION OF SAME.
WHEREAS, it is necessary to acquire easements across
the properties herein described for construction of a sewer force
main, and;
WHEREAS, such properties have been appraised by an
appraiser employed by the City of Wichita Falls and the amount
of the value as determined from the appraisal has been studied
by the City Council , and copies are now in the possession of the
Director of Public Works.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Wichita Falls, Texas, that:
Section No. 1 The description of the easements to be purchased
are as follows:
TRACT NO 1
Lot 1, Tom Harwell Subdivision Number 1: Being a 15.0 foot wide
easement, being 7.5 feet on each side of the below described
center line and being out of Lot 1, Tom Harwell Subdivision
Number 1.
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 1 of the Tom Harwell
Subdivision Number 1 .
Thence south 11 .2 feet along the west line of Lot 1 to the
center line of the easement.
Thence north 89 degrees 21 minutes east 50 feet to a point
in the east line of Lot 1, said point being 10.6 feet south of
the north line of Lot 1. Containing 750 square feet more or less.
TRACT NO 2
Lot 2, Tom Harwell Subdivision Number 1: Being a 15.0 foot wide
easement, being 7.5 feet on each side of the below described
center line and being out of Lot 2, Tom Harwell Subdivision
Number 1.
Commencing at the northwest corner oferofLot2o the Tom Harwell
Subdivision Number 1.
Thence south 11.8 feet along the west line of Lot 2 to the
center line of the easement.
Thence north 89 degrees 21 minutes east 50 feet to a point
in the east line of Lot 2, said point being 11.2 feet south of
the north line of Lot 2. Containing 750 square feet more or less.
TRACT NO 3
Lot 3, Tom Harwell Subdivision Number 1: Being a 15.0 foot wide
easement, being 7.5 feet on each side of the below described
center line and being out of Lot 3, Tom Harwell Subdivision
Number 1.
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 3 of the Tom Harwell
Subdivision Number 1.
Thence south 12.3 feet along the west line of Lot 3 to the
center line of the easement.
Thence north 89 degrees 21 minutes east 50 feet to a point
in the east line of Lot 3, said point being 11.8 feet south of
the north line of Lot 3. Containing 750 square feet more or less.
TRACT NO 4
Lot 4, Tom Harwell Subdivision Number 1: Being a 15.0 foot wide
easement, being 7.5 feet on each side of the below described

Number 1.
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 4 of the Tom Harwell
Subdivision Number 1.
Thence south 13.0 feet along the west line of Lot 4 to the
center of the easement.
Thence north 89 degrees 21 minutes east 50 feet to point in
the east line of Lot 4, said point being 12. 3 feet south of the
north line of Lot 4. Containing 750 square feet more or less.
TRACT NO 5
Lot 5, Tom Harwell Subdivision Number 1: Being a 15.0 foot wide
easement, being 7.5 feet on each side of the below described
center line and being out of Lot 5. Tom Harwell Subdivision
Number 1.
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 5 of the Tom Harwell
Subdivision Number 1.
Thence south 13.5 feet along the west line of Lot 5 to the
center of the easement.
Thence north 89 degrees 16 minutes east 7. 1 feet to a
manhole.
Thence north 89 degrees 21 minutes east 42.9 feet to a point
in the east line of Lot 5, said point being 13.0 feet south of
the north line of Lot 5. Containing 750 square feet more or less.
TRACT NO 6
Lot 6, Tom Harwell Subdivision Number 1: Being a 15.0 foot wide
easement, being 7.5 feet on each side of the below described
centerline and being out of Lot 6 and the east half of Lot 7, Tom
Harwell Subdivision Number 1 .
Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 6 of the Tom Harwell
Subdivision Number 1 .
Thence south 13.5 feet along the east line of Lot 6 to the
centerline of easement.
Thence south 89 degrees 16 minutes west 50 feet to a point
in the west line of Lot 6, said point being 13.5 feet south of
the north line of Lot 6.
Thence continuing south 89 degrees 16 minutes west 25.0 feet
to a point which is 14.45 feet south of the north line of lot 7.
Containing 1125 square feet more or less.
TRACT NO 7
Lot 8,Tom Harwell , Subdivision Number 1 : Being a 15.0 foot wide
easement, being 7.5 feet on each side of the below described
centerline and being out of Lot 8 and the west half of Lot 7, Tom
Harwell Subdivision, Number 1 .
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 8 of the Tom Harwell
Subdivision Number 1 . Thence south 15.4 feet along the west line
of said Lot 8 to the centerline of easement.
Thence north 89 degrees 16 minutes east 50.0 feet to a point
in the east line of Lot 8, said point being 14.8 feet south of
the north line of Lot 8.
Thence continuing North 89 degrees 16 minutes East 25.0 feet
to a point which is 14.45 feet south of the north line of Lot
7. Containing 1125 square feet more or less.
TRACT NO 8
Lot 18 and Lot 28, Hairston and Best Subdivision: Being a 15.0
foot wide easement, 7.5 feet on each side of the below described
center line and being out of Lot 18 and Lot 28, Hairston and Best
Subdivision.
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 18, Hairston and Best
Subdivision.
Thence south 10. 1 feet along the west line of Lot 18 to the
center line of the easement.
Thence north 89 degrees 21 minutes east 170.8 feet to a
manhole that is 8. 1 feet south of the north property line of Lot
18.
Thence south 89 degrees 07 minutes east 235.5 feet to a
point in the east line of Lot 28, Hairston and Best Subdivision,
said point is 11.7 feet south of the north property line of Lot
28. Containing 6094 square feet more or less.
TRACT NO 9
Lot 6 and Lot 7, Hairston and Best Subdivision: Being a 15.0
foot wide easement, being 7.5 feet on each side of the below
described center line and being out of Lot 6 and Lot 7, Hairston
and Best Subdivision.
Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 28, Hairston and Best
Subdivision.
Thence south 11.7 feet along the east line of said Lot 28 to
the center line of the easement.
Thence south 89 degrees 07 minutes east 60 feet to a
manhole.
Thence south 01 degree 29 minutes east 136.0 feet to a
manhole.
Thence north 75 degrees 05 minutes east 140. 1 feet to a
point in the east line of Lot 6, Hairston and Best Subdivision,
said point is 40.3 feet north of the northeast corner of Lot 5,
Hairston and Best Subdivision. Containing 4981 square feet more
or less.
TRACT NO 10
Lot 5 and Lot 6, Ed Woodall Second Subdivision: Being a 15.0
foot wide easement, 7.5 feet on each side of the center line
described below and being out of lot 5 and 6 of the Ed Woodall
Second Subdivision:
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 6 and the southwest
corner of Lot 5 of the Ed Woodall Second Subdivision.
Thence north 75 degrees 05 minutes east 310.73 feet to a
manhole.
Thence south 64 degrees 28 minutes east 80.06 feet to the
east line of Lot 5 of the Ed Woodall Second Subdivision, said
point being 45.5 feet north of the north property line of Lot 6.
Containing 5595 square feet more or less.
TRACT NO 11
2. 115 Acre Tract, Woodall Subdivision: Being a 15.0 foot wide
easement, 7.5 feet on each side of the below described center
line out of the 2. 115 acre tract out of the Woodall Subdivision.
Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 6 of the Ed Woodall
Second Subdivision.
Thence north 45.5 feet along the east line of Lot 5 to the
center line of the easement.
Thence south 64 degrees 28 minutes east 69.44 feet to a
manhole.
Thence north 79 degrees 33 minutes east 61.2 feet to the
west right-of-way line of Central Freeway, said point being south
22 degrees 48 minutes east 359.5 feet from the southeast corner
of Lot 3-A, Woodall Subdivision Number 3. Containing 1843 square
feet more or less.
Section No. 2 The value of each easement is hereby approved and
the City Manager is authorized to purchase the herein described
easements in the name of the City of Wichita Falls. The
authorized price to be paid for such tract is the value as
determined from the appraisal made by the real estate appraiser
employed by the City of Wichita Falls.
Section No, 3 In the event the City Manager is unable to
purchase any of the easements for such approved value, he is
hereby authorized and directed to cause to be instituted,
condemnation proceedings to obtain any o" the easements in the
name of the City of Wichita Fat
