RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR KELL
BOULEVARD UTILITY RELOCATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation
will begin the bidding process for the Kell Freeway Project in June, 1985;
WHEREAS, in anticipation of that project, certain utility lines
belonging to the City of Wichita Falls must be relocated or installed before
the State Project begins;
WHEREAS, the City has advertised and sought bids for the required
utility work;
WHEREAS, the Council has examined the bid received and concluded
that it is reasonable to accept the bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the Kell Boulevard Relocation Project is awarded to
Potter Bowles Construction Company, Wichita Falls, Texas, in the amount of
369,602.14. The City Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate
contracts for this project.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 2ND DAY OF JANUARY, 1985.
