AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING THE SOUTH FIVE
(5) FEET OF A FIFTEEN (15) FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT LYING SOUTH
OF THE NORTH PROPERTY LINE OF LOT 1, OZEE ADDITION, AN ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas has
recommended the abandonment of the south five (5) feet of a fifteen (15) foot
utility easement lying south of the north property line of Lot 1, Ozee Addition,
an addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close, vacate, and abandon the
utility easement hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The south five (5) feet of the east-west fifteen (15) foot wide utility
easement lying south and adjacent to the north property line of Lot 1, Ozee
Addition, bounded on the west by the east right-of-way line of Old Jacksboro
Highway and extending in an easterly direction one hundred forty-seven and four
tenths (147.4) feet to the west edge of a north-south fifteen (15) foot utility
easement lying adjacent to and west of the east boundary of said lot, be and the
same is hereby closed, vacated, and abandoned.
