Ord 102-82 11/2/1982 ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A TWENTY (20) FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT LYING IN BLOCK 1, FRENCH SUBDIVISION, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas has recommended the abandonment of the twenty (20) foot utility easement lying in Block 1, French Subdivision, an addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas; and, WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas deems it advisable and in the public interest to close, vacate, and abandon the utility - easement hereinafter described. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The twenty (20) foot wide easterly-westerly utility easement lying in Block 1, French Subdivision of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, the centerline of said easement beginning at a point in the west right-of-way line of Central Freeway; said point bears S 22° 43' E, 225' more or less from the northeast corner of said lot; and extending approximately S 70° W 230' to the east boundary of a fifteen (15) foot utility easement lying adjacent to the easterly boundary of the Northside Irrigation Canal, be and the same is hereby closed, vacated, and abandoned.
