AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A SIXTY (60)
FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT IN LOT 8-A, BLOCK K, KEMP FAIR
PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas has
recommended the abandonment of the sixty (60) foot wide utility easement in Lot
8-A, Block K, Kemp Fair Park Addition; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas deems
it advisable and in the public interest to close, vacate, and abandon the utility
easement hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The north-south sixty (60) foot by three hundred ten (310) foot utility
easement in Lot 8-A, Block K, Kemp Fair Park Addition to the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, also being that portion of Kemp Blvd. closed by Ordinance No. 1616, be and
the same is hereby closed, vacated, and abandoned.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 5th day of April, 1983.
