AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING THE SIXTY (00)
FOOT WIDE EASEMENT LYING IN A PORTION OF KEMP BOULEVARD CLOSED
BY ORDINANCE 1616 BETWEEN BLOCK "J", KEW'S FAIR PARK ADDITION
AND BLOCK "0", KEMP AND KELL ADDITION
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas has
recommended closure of the sixty (60) foot wide easement lying in a portion of
• Kemp Boulevard closed by Ordinance 1616 between Block "J" Kemp's Fair Park Addition
and Block "0", Kemp and Kell Addition; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls , deems it advisable
and in the public interest to close, vacate, and abandon the easement hereafter
described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The sixty (60) foot wide easement lying in a portion of Kemp Boulevard
closed by Ordinance 1616, being more specifically described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point for the Northwest corner of said Block "0",
Kemp and KQ11 Subdivision, said point being the point of inter-
section of the South right-of-way line of Hampstead Lane and the
previous East right-of-was of the closed portion of Kemp Boulevard,
said point bears South 89 46' East 62.08 feet from the existing
Southeast corner of Kemp Boulevard and Hampstead Lane for the North-
east corner and place of beginning of this description;
' THENCE South 00° 08' West 330.00 feet along the previous East right-
of-way line of (closed) Kemp Boulevard and the West line of said
Block "0" to a point for the Southeast corner of this easement;
THENCE North 89° 46' West 60.00 feet to a point in the previous
West right-of-way line of Kemp Boulevard and the East line of
said Block "J", Kemp's Fair Park Addition, for the Southwest
corner of this easement;
THENCE North 000 08' East 330.00 feet along said previous West
right-of-way lien of Kemp Boulevard and said East line of Block
"J", to its point of intersection with the South right-of-way line
of Hampstead Lane for the Northeast corner of said Block "J" and
the Northwest corner of this easement;
THENCE South 89° 46' East 60.00 feet along said South right-of-way
line of Hampstead Lane to the place of beginning and containing 0.45
acre, more or less.
