ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH (B) OF SECTION 14-20
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, TO PROVIDE THAT THE
PERMIT PRIVILEGES OF A MASTER ELECTRICIAN SHALL
BE SUSPENDED WHEN HE WORKS FOR A DIFFERENT
ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Paragraph (b) of Section 14-20 of the Code of Ordinances is
hereby amended by adding a new paragraph following the last word
("chapter") of the second paragraph and preceding the first word
("Any") of the third paragraph, which new paragraph shall read as
follows:
"Whenever a master electrician shall become employed by, be
on the payroll of, or otherwise be compensated for services performed
or pertinent to electrical work for anyone other than the contractor
for whom he is registered as master electrician, then he shall be
deemed to have left the employment of the person, company, firm,
partnership or corporation for whom he is registered as the required
master electrician, and his permit privileges shall, without further
notice or action, stand suspended, which suspension shall remain
effective until he shall have complied with the provisions of this
chapter. "
