RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT BID OF MARVIN GROVES ELECTRIC
COMPANY FOR TELEMETRY AND CONTROL SYSTEM FOR SANITARY
SEWER LIFT STATIONS AND WATER DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for
furnishing and installing a Telemetry and Control System for Sanitary Sewer
Lift Stations and Water Distribution Facilities, which bids were to be made
on a lump sum basis; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Marvin
Groves Electric Company, who bid a total lump sum of $293,760.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such lump sum bid of Marvin Groves Electric Company in the amount
of $293,760.00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute a contract for the City with said contractor for the construction
of such project.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 2ND DAY OF DECEMBER, 1986.
