RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR COMPLETION OF
THE WILEY ROAD REHABILITATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Timmins-Anderson Corporation
entered into a contract dated October 24, 1986, for the Wiley Road Rehabilitation
Project; and,
WHEREAS, such project has been completed in accordance with the
plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, such contract was the unit price contract and the total
cost based on completed quantities was $242,901.94; however, $154,153.30
has been paid to the contractor, leaving a balance due of $88,748.64. The
project was accepted December 9, 1986.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of such project is accepted by the City of Wichita
Falls, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to pay the contractor
the amount due as set out above.
