AWARD OF BID FOR A TELEPHONE SYSTEM FOR THE CITY'S
WATER COMPLEX LOCATED AT 400 EAST SCOTT
WHEREAS, the City has prepared, advertised, and issued a request
for proposal for a telephone system at the City's Water Complex; and,
WHEREAS, proposalthe of Southwestern Telecom meets all of the City's
requirements at the lowest purchase price; and,
WHEREAS, Southwestern Telecom provides sufficient local service to
adequately maintain and repair a telephone system required for the provision of
essential local services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposal of Southwestern Telecom for provision of a telephone
system for the City' s Water Complex is hereby accepted and the City Manager is
authorized to negotiate and execute a purchase contract with Southwestern Telecom
for an amount not to exceed $8,235.36.
