RESOLUTION APPROVING SIXTH AMENDMENT OF CONTRACT
WITH WICHITA FALLS FUNLAND, INC. ON PROPERTY IN
WEEKS PARK.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
That certain Sixth Amendment of Contract, a copy of which
is attached hereto, between the City of Wichita Falls and Wichita
Falls Funland, Inc. , which decreases the rental from ten (10%)
percent to five (5%) percent of the gross income, is hereby
approved, and the City Manager is authorized to execute the same
for the City of Wichita Falls .

SIXTH AMENDMENT OF CONTRACT
WITH WICHITA FALLS FUNLAND, INC.
This Sixth Amendment of Contract made and entered into this
the 16th day of December, 1986 , by and between the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, hereinafter called "City" , and Wichita Falls Funland,
Inc. , hereinafter called "Funland" ,
WITNESSTH:
WHEREAS, heretofore, on July 12, 1965, a contract was entered
into by and between City and Funland for use by Funland of a
portion of Weeks Park for an amusement park, and this contract
expires June 30 , 1990; under paragrah 3 of said lease, as amended,
Funland agrees to pay to City ten (10%) percent of the gross
income derived from the use of such land; and,
WHEREAS, the recent work by the City on widening Holliday
Creek for the flood control project has caused Funland' s train
ride to be reduced to one-fourth (1/4) of its original length,
which has caused a large decrease in revenue, and Funland has
requested that their rental be reduced.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Funland do hereby agree as follows:
Paragraph 3 of said contract dated July 12, 1965 , as amended,
is hereby amended to provide that the percentage of gross income
derived from the use of the land to be paid by Funland to City
shall be five (5%) percent of all the gross income.
This amendment shall be effective as of the date hereof.
The parties hereto have caused these presents to be executed
as of the day and year first set out above.
