RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR COMPLETION OF
THE HAMILTON PARK HANDICAP AND FITNESS AREA
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and R. Garza Construction entered
into a contract dated September 15, 1986, for the construction of the Hamilton
Park Handicap and Fitness Area.
WHEREAS, such project has been completed in accordance with the
plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, such contract was a unit price contract and the estimated
cost based on estimated quantities was $14,477.50; however, $6,580.63 has
been paid to the contractor, leaving a balance due of $7,785.25; and,
WHEREAS, this project was completed on November 24, 1986.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of such project is accepted by the City of Wichita
Falls, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to pay to the contractor
the amount due as set out above.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 2ND DAY OF DECEMBER, 1986.
