RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 TO THE
CONTRACT WITH CONRAD STALEY & ASSOCIATES FOR
DESIGN WORK ON THE SOFTBALL COMPLEX.
WHEREAS, the City and Conrad Staley & Associates entered
into a contract dated March 6 , 1986 for professional services
for the new four-field softball complex, to be located at Jaycee
Park; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed location for the complex has been
changed to a location on Sheppard Access Road, and it is desired
to amend the contract to provide for additional work to site
adapt and master plan the proposed new site and to make requested
changes for the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 1 to the March 6 , 1986 contract between
the City and Conrad Staley & Associates is hereby approved, to
provide for additional work required to site adapt and master
plan the proposed site and to make requested changes for the
above referenced project; all additional services will be cal-
culated on an hourly basis, with Principal' s time at a fixed
rate each of $40 . 00 per hour and Employees ' time at a rate of
two and one-half (2k) times their normal salary plus all benefits
as outlined in Article 4 , but with a price not to exceed $12,500. 00
and $2 , 500 . 00 for master planning the project. The City Manager
is authorized to execute such change order.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 2nd day of December, 1986 .
