RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC
CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY HERETOFORE ISSUED TO
CLAUDIO RAMIREZ, SR. , FOR THE OPERATION OF
THREE ADDITIONAL TAXICABS IN WICHITA FALLS.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 74-85, adopted June 18 , 1985,
the City Council granted and issued to Claudio Ramirez , Sr. ,
a certificate of public convenience and necessity for the
operation of one taxicab; and,
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 146-85, the City Council amended
such certificate to authorize Mr. Ramirez to operate a total
of two taxicabs; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Ramirez has requested authority to operate
three additional taxicabs in the City, and the City Council
has conducted a public hearing on the application; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the public convenience
requires the operation of three additional taxicabs and that
the applicant is fit to conduct this business.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The certificate of public convenience and necessity issued
and granted to Claudio Ramirez , Sr. , by Resolution No. 74-85 ,
and amended by Resolution No. 146-85, is hereby amended to
authorize Claudio Ramirez , Sr. to operate a total of five taxi-
cabs, subject to the ordinances of the City.
