RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN PARCELS OF
REAL PROEPRTY AS EXCESS AND DIRECTING THE
LAND TO BE SOLD BY SEALED BIDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to reduce the inventory
of real property maintained by the City when such property is
no longer required for public purposes; and,
WHEREAS, the Property Management Division has determined
that three parcels of property currently meet the criteria to
be considered as excess; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to return these
three parcels of property to private ownership.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The following parcels of real property, located in Wichita
Falls, Wichita County, Texas, are declared as excess, and the
City Manager is directed to advertise for sealed bids for the
sale of this property:
Parcel #A
The remainder of Lots 19 through 30 ,
Block 21, Hillcrest Addition, less a
15 foot wide strip off the south side
to be reserved for future highway
right-of-way, also known as 1408
through 1430 Midwestern Parkway East.
Parcel #B
The remainder of Lots 31 through 34 ,
Block 21, Hillcrest Addition, also
known as 1400 through 1406 Midwestern
Parkway East.
Parcel #C
A 100 ' x 332 ' tract of land off of the
northeast corner of Lot 1-B, Replat of
Lot 1, Block 7 , Bellevue Addition, also
known as 1801 Fifth Street.
