AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT WITH KORN/FERRY INTERNATIONAL
FOR THE PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF A FIRE
CHIEF
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to recruit an outstanding field
of applicants for the position of Fire Chief; and
WHEREAS, the City believes it can best accomplish this goal through a
professional services contract with a recognized Executive Search and Recruitment
firm.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Korn/Ferry
International for the provision of Professional Services for the recruitment of a
Fire Chief. The total amount of this contract shall not exceed $10,000 plus
3,500 for expenses incurred by Korn/Ferry in the search process.
