AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
TO DEVELOP THE NECESSARY PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND TO GO TO BID ON THE
BEAUTIFICATION OF A THREE BLOCK AREA OF
SHEPPARD ACCESS ROAD
WHEREAS, residents and business owners along Sheppard Access Road have
requested that the City undertake a project to beautify a portion of that
highway; and
WHEREAS, these same individuals have organized a group of area residents
and businessmen to actively pursue private beautification efforts in the same
area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WITHITA FALLS THAT:
The Public Works Department is authorized to develop the necessary plans
and specifications and to go to bid on the beautification of a three block area
of Sheppard Access Road. The Council intends to appropriate funds as required
for the purpose of this project.
